How To Renew Your NC Concealed Handgun Permit

......... believe me, it is much easier to renew it than to let it lapse!
Contact your local Sheriff's Office to find out their fee for renewal.  Fingerprinting is not required for renewals.  Submit an Affidavit for Renewal of Concealed Handgun Permit along with the fee to renew your Concealed Handgun Permit.
 
IF YOU LET YOUR PERMIT EXPIRE AND LAPSE, YOU WILL HAVE TO RETAKE THE REQUIRED NCJA CERTIFICATION COURSE.
BELOW IS A LETTER FROM OUR NASH CO. SHERIFF REGARDING RENEWAL OF YOUR CONCEALED  HANDGUN PERMIT:
Do NOT sign the affidavit until you are physically at the Sheriff's Office in the presence of the Sheriff's Clerk.
